Tell me about Yourself Nicky
I am 42 years old and a mother of 3 beautiful children.
I have a wonderful supportive husband who is a Fire Fighter, therefore is a shift worker, so we play tag team quite a bit. I come home, he goes to work, etc…
I work full time as a ‘Business Analyst’, and we live on a 5 acre Rural Property.
With work, family commitments, and of course the dreaded home duties, my life can get pretty hectic at times.
Why did you want to lose weight?
To put it bluntly, I didn’t like myself.
I disliked everything about my appearance and the way I felt before the program.
I was stuck in a rut and couldn’t get myself out of it.
I felt depressed, and just wanted to hide under a rock somewhere.
I definitely wasn’t coping at all with the pressures of life and I was continually on this emotional roller coaster that I just couldn’t get off, and most times just felt so worthless.
What part of your body did you want to change the most?
Everything... but mostly my bloated stomach
What was the turning point that made you decide – YES I am going to change my body and get into shape?
After Christmas and New Year’s and yet another 3kg gain, reaching the heaviest I had ever weighed in my life (even when full term pregnant with my children)
I took a good hard look at myself in the mirror, not just a glance, but a good hard look, and I honestly didn’t like one thing about that ‘person’ looking back at me.
I tried to think back at how and why I had let myself reach such a low point in my life, and of course had all kinds of pathetic excuses and played the blame game…
I start my vicious cycle of endless cardio, and food restriction, but the weight just didn’t budge and I was so emotionally drained.
I felt very disheartened, lost motivation and started to doubt if I could ever get my body back…
I kept thinking to myself, ‘maybe this is who I am and how I’m meant to look now!!!!’
At this point I decided that the ‘person’ ‘in the mirror is not who I am, and definitely not who I want to be at 42…
Tell me about some of the physical changes that you have noticed
As each day passed I became so much more confident and stronger both physically and mentally.
I’m confident, motivated and have an abundance of energy that I never had before starting the program, and definitely don’t require as much sleep.
I’m mentally and physically stronger, as a result, I’m able to cope better with all aspects of my life.
Just the feeling of being in control of your life was motivation enough to stick with the program!
Were you following any program to help you to lose the weight?
I followed an online program called Transform. Vix who put the program together has lost 20kgs herself.
The program is all about eating delicious food, eating often through the day and it is nothing like "dieting".
It was unlike any other program I had tried because I was actually eating heaps of yummy food and it didn't feel like I was dieting at all.
What were you eating when you lost 20kgs?
Like many people I had struggled with nutrition all my life, knowing what the good foods are to eat, and ‘how to eat clean’, and well timing of meals never existed;
I just ate when I was starving…..

What exercise where you doing when you lost 20kgs?
I workout from home. The Transform weekly workout structures are fantastic, just print (or save) and go!
You don’t have to think about anything.
I love the fact that each workout is different with so much variety plus alternative easier options for new comers.
The workouts are changed up all the time, so you never get bored and motivation remains high.
I love the new workout series that Vix introduces weekly, there is always a sense of anticipation and excitement to see what Vix has install for us next….
What would you say to anyone who is thinking about starting the Transform Program
This program has provided me the knowledge to help me get my life back on track.
This is now a way of life for me.
I never want to look in the mirror again and dislike everything about the person staring back at me!
