Secret 1: Set a Simple Goal

Your first step is to set a really simple goal.

One of the best simple goals to set is to pick an item of clothing you want to fit better in to. 

It could be a work shirt or skirt, your favourite pair of pants, or a dress you want to feel more confident in. 

Fitting better into this item of clothing is your focus.

Secret 2: You Don’t Have to Starve Yourself to Lose Weight.

Everyone thinks that to lose weight you need to starve yourself.

IT’S JUST NOT TRUE.

If you want to lose weight, starving yourself is the worst thing you can do.

  • Starving yourself is not sustainable and brings on obsessive hunger cravings.

Starving Yourself: 

  • Leads to binge eating and blowouts.

  • Messes with your body and slows your metabolism making weight loss near impossible.

  • Starving yourself also makes your body look doughier and puffier and increases cellulite.

INSPIRATION: MEL

Mel always thought to get into shape she had to starve herself.

Mel went thru a cycle of yo-yo dieting.

This caused a weight gain of over 30kg.

Once I was able to show Mel what she was doing wrong- that she didn’t need to starve herself Mel lost 30kg and got in the best shape of her life.

Secret 3: You Don’t Need to do Hours and Hours of Exhausting Workouts.

Everyone thinks that to lose weight you need to exercise like crazy, thrashing yourself with hours and hours of running or gym classes, bootcamps or that you need to live in the gym.

IT’S JUST NOT TRUE.

When you are over 35, 40 or 50 years of age or overweight or unfit there is a better way to work out that is easier and gets faster results.

To get started it only takes 20 mins, 3 times per week.

Everyone thinks that to lose weight you need to count calories and eat nothing but boring salads.

It’s not about calories - it’s about nutrients.

When you feed your body the right nutrients you can actually eat more every day.

Everyone thinks that to lose weight you need to give up all your favourite foods like pizza, thai takeaway, BBQ’s with friends and your favourite desserts.

You can actually use your favourite foods in a strategic way to SPEED UP your weight loss. This is great if you are like me and you LOVE Food.

Nicola always thought that to lose weight, she would have to miss out on all her favourite foods.

Once Nicola discovered my program she found out she could get into awesome shape, without missing out on her favourite foods.

Nicola was still able to enjoy her favourite gourmet prawn pizza every week from her favourite restaurant.

Secret 6: Carbs Are Good for Weight Loss.

Everyone thinks that to lose weight you need to cut out carbs.

IT’S JUST NOT TRUE.

When you stop eating carbs you starve your body of energy, and this makes it impossible to stick with.


It’s not sustainable.

Carbs are an essential fuel source for the body – kind of like putting petrol in your car.

When you eat the right kind of carbs you have so much energy to power through your day.


You don’t get hungry and feel full all day, your cravings for junk food disappear and you no longer over eat...

Gina used to think food was the enemy.  

Once Gina discovered she didn't have to restrict her food and cut out carbs...

The results came really quickly and she got into the best shape of her life.

Secret 7: You Can Get into Shape Eating Delicious Food.

Everyone thinks that to lose weight you need to eat bland boring food.  Stuff like salads, corn cakes and plates of vegetables.

Thats me above :-)  I am a bit different to most "fitness gurus".  

I have actually lost 20kgs.  

Before I lost my 20kgs I struggled for a long time to change my body.

The biggest turning point in my weight loss was when I re-invented my favourite meals so they were fat burning, satisfying and filling.

16 years later...I have never stopped creating new recipes.

To start with the recipes were just for me, then I started making recipes for my clients as well.

Secret 8: The Simplest to Stay Motivated.

Sometimes people tell me they have great motivation and enthusiasm at the start of their health and fitness journey.

But it soon starts to wane...
